Basic recommendations from a Home Stager:
  • Get rid of your clutter
  • Depersonalize rooms, removing photos and drawings. Buyers really want to visualize how their belongings will fit in a room
  • Neutralize rooms as much as possible, removing trendy or large furniture and loud colors on the walls. This makes the room look more spacious
  • Showcase one focal point, like the fireplace
  • The scent should only be a clean smelling one. If you have pets or anything else causing odour, remove it
  • Put fresh white towels in the bathroom
  •

    Things to Consider When Buying
     
    TAXES! If there is one thing people often overlook when considering their buying potential, it's the Property Transfer Tax in British Columbia.  Property transfer tax is a land registration tax payable whenever an application is made at a Land Title Office in British Columbia to register changes on a certificate of title.
